30 minutes before this image was taken it would have been the typical

tourist post card view. I thought this scene had a bit more drama and

interesting lines. I like it and hope you do also. Thanks for your time,

The colors are great. It's hard to incorporate peace and drama all at once. I imagine watching the rain roll in from beneath shelter (or maybe not), enjoying getting lost in the scene.

Tony, What does that say about a site that's suppose to promote creativity, experimentation, and growth? I, too, hold back on stuff that I consider "risky" because posting for criticism and then getting slammed anonymously isn't any fun. Not that the ratings are all that important, but just getting a string of 3's and 4's unaccompanied by comment is somewhat hollow and unfulfilling. I do a lot of "Critique Only" these days.

 

Okay, I'm sounding a like a grouchy contrarian. I hope to see some of your experimental shots eventually...

 

I am definitely going to submit one of those 'off beat' ones tomorrow. Just got one of those 3/3 Anon without explanation but as we all know that is all part of life at PN. He! He! Have to get my beauty rest (I need it) so will be turning in soon.
