Contribution to the Song Title Club, song proposed by Mehmet Akin.

This is actually a water puppet show, a traditional cultural show in Hanoi, Vietnam. I interpret this pic as the little boy singing for the old lonely fisherman out alone at sea, appease his loniless & bring joy & happiness to his face from his music. Thanks for viewing & feedback.

Nicely done, Cheryln. The position of the puppets is interesting. They are both present, but only marginally connected. I also like how you have balanced the composition. Great work.

Thanks for your blazing/amazing fast responses on a STC submissions and the all-member-suppoorting link lists. I can see, while you were wondering how some of us got done with an assignment quick, you were trying to make work of yours as much dedicated as possible.

Briefly - it's nice to see that framing. Framing fits picture. Picture fits the Song Title. In an UNEXPECTED way, making me ponder vaguely what mood does it prompt.

~Here. I guess it would be fantastic to apprae once in a rainy day under the bridge castaway and watch those folks swinging mechanically on the waves... very romantic and deep - although it does not have any generic velocity/speed that reinforces some of our submissions for this one.

Very creative and alternative point of view. I highly value it.

Did not know of the theme Cherlyn, but yours is a very nice presentation of the song and pupets.good light and well composed.

I'm very busy with the dance groups, and next week I will travel to Montenegro in Croatia for a week...

Regardless of how much everyone likes this, unless they viewed it full screen on a wide format monitor, I doubt they could fully appreciate the detail and precision in this work.

An excellent entry, Cherlyn. Top marks.

Great storytelling, Cherlyn. Reminds me of several recountings of the Titanic's last moments afloat, when a brass band continued to play while the ship sank. However, it appears that your subjects are doing much better. Very creative, my friend. Regards.

This is why I posted the questions I did about this Song Title thing. I really do not know this song, and even though I read the lyrics, they don't really give you a sense of the feel of the song. Yet, this composition, regardless of the meaning of the song, is compelling, and like Joseph Tury said, the literal relationship to the song is not necessary. With that in mind, I have to say that the lighting, tones and texture of this pictures are very well done indeed. Congrats.
