mvisionphotography 1 Posted July 11, 2007 Like it was taken with an old camera and put through a different style or filtering. I really like what you did to it. Link to comment
snapshooter 0 Posted July 11, 2007 Thanks Micki.Perhaps that's what my subconcious was telling me. I didn't do anything with it though. Just a tighter crop and a touch of contrast. Link to comment
bob_belanger 1 Posted July 11, 2007 I like this image. And, I like the title as well. I used the same theme on my Singing for the Lonely shot. There is one minor detail, the grass top behind the flower distracts a bit from the flower. My eye is drawn to it and away from the the flower... I do like the effect of boosing the contrast it has a nice touch to the colors. Link to comment
snapshooter 0 Posted July 11, 2007 Thanks for stopping by, Bob. And even more for bringing something to my attention. I can't say that the grasses bother me, though they should be more out of focus (for me). What I hadn't noticed is the one blade that broke the border and really stands out. I'll have another go at it. Thanks again. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted July 11, 2007 Doug, beautiful light and color on this flower. I also like the background suggesting that the flower is wild. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted July 12, 2007 I like Hasan's comment "Lonely, but vivid." Lovely shot. Link to comment
