lonebearimages 0 Posted July 9, 2007 Tim, this a heck of a great shot! Absolutely brilliant perspective and POV. Nice cropping and composition. This would make a great poster in the local Navy recruiter's office. Nice work. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
ni_clas92 0 Posted July 9, 2007 I think this is a almost excellent shot! Realy nice! The only thing I miss is a cool sky. But it is a O=7 and A=6. Link to comment
fergi 0 Posted January 14, 2008 Tim, This is better than I've seen yet of the Blues. I live in PCola, the Blue Angel home and see them twice a week in practice, and this shot absolutely rocks. I am going to share it with my shipmates down here. Well done. Oh, the sky is a perfect shade with the wisp of cloud to add perspective. Timing is perfect with the Flight Leader on top in perfect precision with 2,3 and 4. Your framing of the scene is good, as you give enough empty space for them to fly into, and just enough trail to show that this is live. No grain and the shot is absolutley clean. I can almost see the Commander's face. Superb! fergi Link to comment
timzeipekis 5 Posted January 14, 2008 Wow, thanks Andrew, what a great compliment. I was at the show for four hours on a record setting hot day this past summer, I (idiotically) did not wear a hat (I shave my head) and suffered what had to be the worst sunburn of my life.......took about 300 shots total at the show and when I got this one, I was ecstatic when I checked the preview, its one of those rare moments when you know you got the shot and its what drives me to keep shooting. I've been reworking a lot of my shots here, since I calibrated my monitor, and have been losing the frames.......I'll see if I can't make it look even better.......thanks again! Link to comment
