Viewed large this is even more blurry than it is when viewed smaller. The camera shake blur makes this photo unusable. As for the subject, I think you need a more dramatic view. The cable is too much the same color as the background, and there is little shadow or contrast to give this form or definition. Had you not told me that this is, via the title, I would have no idea of what I am looking at.

 

Next time: 1) use a tripod, 2) get some light on the subject to separate from the background 3) take your camera out of Auto mode and learn to use the exposure controls.

 

 

Thanks for the input Chas... I wanted it blurry it was the colors that intrigued me. As far as the colors, I was trying to show nature Vs. man. I understand your opinions, but I also didn't want something totally ordinairy. It obviously did not get the reaction from you I was looking for. Please see some of my detailed photo's. By the way I really like your work... I am listening...

Yeah, when I looked at your other photos, this one didn't match. Sometimes when you're gonna do something out of the ordinary, it helps the audience to give them a clue in advance, with the picture title, or comments.

 

This is one those situations where "I don't get it" is strictly my POV, and doesn't necessarily reflect anyone else's view.

Your other work is much better than this. You have a really good eye for composition and color. Your "hard-edged" stuff is much better than this...
