This has a very nice synergy to it, perhaps helped by the increased intensity of the sky in the empty space. Mesmerising!

ahhhh thats what I feel when looking at this image. Its relaxing which seems to be consciences. The simpliest images are the most powerful for me. Perfect!!!

Simple and beautiful. Even the head band fit in with the horizontal lines of the benches. A neat photograph.

Thanks for all the nice comments! I thought the composition was a little strange with the empty bench and all but am glad that the image is appreciated. I was riding my bicycle and saw the young woman sitting on the bench looking out at a foggy Lake Michigan, I asked her if I could take some photos and she graciously said yes.

Indeed an illustration of the rule that simplicity is a very forceful tool of expressions. Here there is no animation such as flying birds or walking cats. Just a lonely girl with a white ribbon sitting on a bench surrounded by the black lace of branches against fog and an empty sky. Very good. Tim, offer her a print of the photo.

This is Excellent Composition with Great artistic value & Creativity. The two trees at each side of the frame gives effect of boundary & in the midst there is open space - the person sitting on the bench looking at the empty space signifying some philosophical meaning... may be touched by Grandeur of Life and its unlimited possibilities to explore n grow and take refuge in the Serenity n Poise without getting distracted by the boundaries. Thats it! Keep it up!!!
