antonio.giacomo 0 Posted July 8, 2007 The birds are quite harmless, but it does look like they are having a go. You might also like to rate some other of the monochrome images in this folio. I started in photography as a photojournalist shooting on Tri-X, and to my mind, digital cameras cannot produce the gritty reality that we got with our old Nikons (discuss). Link to comment
kanders 0 Posted July 8, 2007 Wow! It really looks like the birds are going to beat the poor lady (and her coward boyfriend is running away ;P ). Very nice moment! Link to comment
gdanmitchell 0 Posted July 8, 2007 Great work, and the best of the bunch in that portfolio in my opinion. I might have been tempted to say something about the large relatviley empty space on the right side unbalancing the photograph, but I see that it strengthens the impression that the two figures are in a hurry to leave the scene to the right. (A personal note - one reason (but not the only one) that this is my favorite from the portfolio is that It avoids the grainy effect and super high contrast of some of the others.) In any case, a wonderful photograph - among a very nice group of photographs in the portfolio. Take care, Dan Link to comment
fabiano 0 Posted June 2, 2008 Really beautiful Antonio, the tonal range of greys is really rich. I never could achieve some result with grain in digital that could resemble the film look. Link to comment
