Although Oliver Reed had a reputation as a hell raiser, I am told that he was also a director's dream, because he could always do what was wanted in the first take. The Maltese are very friendly. The landlady gave me some salted peanuts with my pint of Cisk. The nuts made me very thirsty, so I had to have another pint. She brought me some more peanuts, and so on ... You might like to look at some other of the monochrome images in this folio. I started out in photography as a photojournalist, shooting Tri-X. To my mind, modern digital cameras cannot capture the harsh reality of our old Nikons. Link to comment

antonio.giacomo 0 Posted July 8, 2007 Thanks, Dale It was shot on a Nikon D70s, but when I saw the result I thought that it would be much better in black and white. I upped the contrast (etc.), so that it would look like what I would do were I shooting on Tri-X. Link to comment
