markboyer 0 Posted July 7, 2007 Looks to me like he's tired and slowing down. But he's as handsome as ever - and your focus is great. Link to comment
ted_smith1 0 Posted July 7, 2007 I really love this shot. It portrays the typical adventures of man and his dog on a mission to get 'somewhere'. I realise you're not in it, but a dog of that breed will always generally be with someone so you instantly get that companionship aspect without a human present. The path adds to the 'drama' too and further demonstrates the feeling of his nearing an end to what must have been a long trek (even if it wasn't, the picture allows your imagination to assume that). Nice and sharp, well exposed (even his darker side which, due to the sun, is a good effort) and interesting. The only thing I can add is that I would have liked to have had at least one of his eyes in the frame, although without them it again demonstrates his fatigue, but maybe that was not the intention, in which case an eye would have made it better. Well done Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 7, 2007 I've never been that impressed with Canon's A1 Servo focus/tracking mode...undoubtedly more my fault than the camera's, though. But you and the camera got this one exactly right, so it obviously works! I guess I'll have to try harder. This is a really good shot. And it goes without saying that it's always a pleasure seeing Rocco again. Link to comment
erizaldi 0 Posted August 14, 2007 Hi Carlo, long time not see you in critique forum, so I go to your portfolio and found this pic. Very good photo of the dog, the focus and detil is sharp. I've seen this camera on Live demo when it is launced in Jakarta. Great camera...with great price (hehehe). Nice to put comment here. best Regards, Erwin. Link to comment
