OK, here's what I did in Photoshop:

 

1. duplicate the layer, and disable the background layer.

 

- on upper layer -

 

2. cut out everything around the deer.

3. clone stamp the branches infront.

 

- on background layer -

 

4. go to menu -> blur -> gaussian blur (14 %)

5. now, use the blur tool to diminish every harsh edge, that left around the deer.

 

And you are ready :)

Hasan version is beautiful, but for me it looks as though the poor deer wandered into a studio. Both photos have great merit. I like the natural greens surrounding the deer in your version. The colors are so rich.

This deer shot is so good. Talk about up close and personal. The colors and clarity are perfect. I dream about deer shots like these. Bravo!!
