I like the old country store look, My suggestion would be a close up of things in the store, but Great Job.

Thank you Mindy. Your suggestion is a good one. Everything in the store contributes to the history of the place and the people who spent an essential part of their lives here.

You got in! You lucky dog! Actually Doug, that little corner of the Coke machine actually completes the image, [not to mention the letter box]. Exposure is dead on. I never noticed the objects on the shelf & the ash tray. This is goose bump material.

Yea, it was open for Del Rio's Fourth of July celebration. I was pleased to get in, but I felt that I should be carrying your tripod as you went in to take pictures. It is your place.

 

I met the owners, who are very nice people. If you come back in the fall, I'm confident I can arrange for it to be opened.

It's been a while since I last visited and you have posted some excellent new work Doug! I love the understated color in this one. Absolutely beautiful!
