Very beautiful. You have here found a scene reproducing the wonderful colours of the Icelandic landscapes. The white walls of the Well donechurch and the black shades below it render the warm colours on the mountains even more attractive.

i love the photo but found some of the small structures in the background to be distracting. took the liberty to remove them...let me know what you think...if ya wish. john

john, you are right, the picture looks purer that way. i was a bit hesitant in removing the white structures, because these are the entrance to the cimetery and two white grave crosses and should be there for authenticity. but on the small resolution picture diplayed they do not show up as such and should be eliminated

This shot (or ones like it) have been done a lot, but this one works better than most for me. I think its the beautiful play of colors; the green, the purple, and the red roof. Very good eye and well captured.
