Wow the list of what I want to shoot this weekend wow everything from the Red River to Kansas lol. I would like to do some of the US-66 to the east to the Round Barn and west to El Reno maybe the grain elevator in Yukon. Brick Town and there is a park across I-40, on the south side of 40 right at brick town that has an elevator with art paint, we tried to get over there last time but now I am thinking you have to take a boat am I right lol? I do not think I will have time on this one to do Guthrie. I want to but make it all in one trip and stay up there. I have a hand full of Indians land deeds from 1901 to 1905 where land was given to the Indians. I want to put them up to auction, to sell. There use to be a museum in Guthrie that had one of these. And is Frontier City still there, I would like to shoot one of the gun fights would be cool and I want to be at the Memorial at sun down to get a 9:01 east door shot and anything in between any of this lol

I live 2.5 miles from the Round Barn. It's a tough rascal to shoot. Then Pops is just down the street. We might have to meet at the Barn...

So you do live at the Mother Road that is cool, yes I do remember now the old round barn being a hard shot but for the life of me I cannot remember if it is a pm or am shoot or how US-66 interacts with the barn itself or if it does for that matter I think the barn is on the north side of 66 if I remember right. Can we see the barn from the road, even maybe a block or two away? I just cannot for the life of me think what it is or how it is. A sunset or sunrise with the barn at off center and the sun setting on the road all from the center of the road I think may be cool, but at the same time it would be a light nightmare maybe with a Graduated ND filter, I need to learn how to do an ND in software, do you know how or can it be done in the dark room? Yes I want to see Pops do you have an opening day or is it already on-line.

The barn is right on Rte 66, about 100 feet. A lot of utility poles and other buildings. A PM shot probably would be best lighting, a early morning sunrise, if colors were right would work too. Pops website is www.pops66.com They hope to open later this month. A late evening sunset or sunrise on this one too, although not near a tough subject.

Wow this Pops place is going to be cool I want to see the movie Cars someone the other day told me about it I did not know that it was about an old road, have you seen it? And hey I will bring my power pole cutters and we can do away with the power lines lol shooting landscape I have leaned to hate power poles oh some times they are nice in a shot maybe to show DOF but for the most part cut them down I say. Most of what we have here in Plano is under, thanks for the link

The very best I can do Dennis is hope to be out of here by 4:45pm that would put me in the city maybe by 8:00 or 8:15 but that will be hard to, ladies and having to stop me I can make it from one end of the states to the other even with my diabetes lol. And then I need to take my kid by her mothers, she will spend the evening there to see that side and then I am looking at maybe some night shots if I feel up to it after the drive. My feet, legs, hands and arms are not what they were yesterday and you know that was not all that long ago lol. Nerve damage and the diabetes are going to take them from me and before that I am going to do and see and fight this all I can, this crap can kick me in the teeth but I will get right back up, anyway that is all that. I think you said Brick town was cool at night or hey is the Pop turned on yet, that is going to make a very cool night shoot. I have been all over the link you sent and when they turn on the lights I will want to shoot it for sure. Anyway Dennis looking forward to see you all in the next hours my cell if you do not still have it is 469-586-8134 Later and hey do not worry about me, I am the king of pain, well most of the time LOL
