Mother Nature Celebrates Independence Day

We had an awesome light show on the 4th of July - and some fireworks too. Out of 200

attempts, this was the only shot that caught both shows in one frame.

You were very lucky with that. Really nice sky and the fact that both lighting and the fireworks are sharp, adds to the quality of the photo.. I just wish there were less of the buildings showing, can you crop it in the bottom more, just to show the skyscrapers and none of the buildings in the front? Other than that, really nice, and very very lucky.

You have to love these "The right shot at the right time" images. I sat outside one evening for 2 hours watching a very active storm system west of the house. Out of that two hours... nada ! Two blurred shots.
