birds - various Happy Heron

Heron is happy; water is up in the river. May be offline for awhile as the road will be cut off in the a.m., so probably going to my mother-in-law's for a few days. It's been five years to the DAY that we flooded bigtime before! Weird...Shouldn't be as bad this time, though. We're up on stilts, so no water in the house - just can't get to it.

Wow, Kim - I had no idea you were in a flood plain. Uck! Well ... I tried replying to that e-mail you sent and it still doesn't work. I wonder if it flagged me because I put you on an e-mail that I sent to a whole bunch of photonet people, and it was regarded as spam? That's all I can think of. RrRrrrrrr.... I leave for Africa on Friday (7/13) and will be gone for a couple of weeks. We can try again when we're both back in our respective towns.

We're flooded alright...house is safe, but we can't get back because the bridge/roads cut off. At least we have a safe place to stay. Have a fun trip, Lou Ann and we'll figure this out when you're back!
