kslonaker 0 Posted July 4, 2007 I didn't see a nest, just this baby. In fact, I had NO idea what it even was when I was taking pictures!! Ed was the one who said it kind of looked like a turkey (but SO much cuter) and that's when we figured out it was a baby turkey by looking on the Internet. He/she wasn't very afraid of me, so I got lots of pictures. Last weekend, I had seen a mother turkey with about a dozen babies, so maybe this one got separated from the rest. Not sure when they leave the mother's protection. He/she could fly, although not a great distance. Link to comment
