Actually, this area of Colorado apparently was being considered for a massive military installation of some sort. These signs were everywhere for miles, but this one just had a ironic placement that I could not resist photographing.

David, on a more serious note (sorry), what's the vignetting about? Is your zoom prone at 18mm? or because you had the polarizer on? The vignetting appears to be out of gamut color more than a true vignette effect.

I'm clearly not the technician you are, but I think the problem is with the polarizing filter. Of course I could have fixed it with some cropping.

Yeah, you can bet I slammed on the brakes when I went whizzing by this scene at 80 MPH.

Yeh.. Can imagine such a shield can be needed! Haha.., having three percent Jewish blood (yes, proud of!)I do like your sense of humor very much!

Thanks again for digging out some of my older stuff and commenting on it. I really appreciate how much effort you put into it. From viewing your images, I know you have a good sense of humor, so I'm not surprised that you like this.
