yves_p 0 Posted August 6, 2007 Yes, this is Miyajima. Scan of a slide taken 20 years ago with my first compact camera. Hope you like it. Cheers. Yves P. Link to comment
oliclark 0 Posted September 18, 2007 i like the follow through of the sun on the water, strange how the colour is more dramatic in the reflection Link to comment
kurt2006 0 Posted October 2, 2007 I visited Miyajima in the spring of 2001 and spent a most wonderful day wandering the roads and trails with a group of friends. Cherry blossoms were everywhere and falling like snow, and it was like being in a dream. This tori gate is a brilliant orange and is quite stunning in broad daylight. In this image, though in silhouette, you have captured the beauty of the location. Thank you for sharing some of your Japan images here, Yves. Link to comment
kristina_kraft 0 Posted April 9, 2008 It is a nice slide scan. I've seen the tori gate before on many other photos. But this one has a personal value. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Bring back memories for me Yves. Beeen there and love the quaint seaside shops and restaurants. The wild deers are so tame and the red faced monkeys on the hilltop are a delight to photograph. Link to comment
