Street Musician/Activist

Captured on the main street in front of Pikes Place Market in

Seattle, Washington. I think there are a lot of interesting

juxtapositions here, what do you think?

Oh good grief, I've been sitting here staring at this for 10 minutes and can't get a concentrated thought in my head......it's Christ as an old man, yes to the impeachment, love the donation bucket wrapped in duct tape, I'd love to see the rest of that old piano, poignant, excellent range of tones, could he sing and play well, the car's parked close for a quick getaway, does he do parties, is he a regular at Pike Place Market, is that a CD of his music, how does someone with talent wind up a street musician, what else is he an activist about.......and the brain wanders on. Wonderful image Philip. My son lives in Seattle and I love to visit there.

Interesting shot, Philip. Just enough "extras" included to make this really good and thought-provoking. The positioning of his head is perfect, too. If he was looking right at you, it wouldn't be as strong.

A wonderful moody portrait. Well worth a 6.
