svend erik poulsen 0 Posted June 29, 2007 Hey Kenneth I'd rather not rate this, as it dosent seem up yo your usual standards. Or maybe I just don't get the point.. SEP Link to comment
stormphotonet 1 Posted June 30, 2007 Well, I do not think there is anything to get a point that is, it is a small Texas town and this is main street in the town. So I guess if you feel the photo is well not all that it could be or should be go a head knock it down but If you take time to kick me in the teeth, say why ok? What I ask is the same respect that I would extend to you or anyone on this page or for that matter any photo page on the web. I welcome constructive criticism from anyone but not just criticism. So maybe you are not someone that likes small cities and towns in a western setting but that does not make this a bad photo. If you feel it is a bad photo I would love to hear your thoughts on that point, now that is a point you see. Thanks for taking the time out of your very busy day to make a point. svend erik poulsen 0 Posted July 1, 2007 Ok Kenneth - i'll try to be more specific - your posting history deserves it. First of all - i may still miss the point entirely, but then you set me straight. First the good part - photo is well exposed - good tones both in shadows and highlights - nothing more to say about that. But i miss the feel of small-town here. You say its so and i believe. But i cant see it. Then there's some disturbing elements. The reflections in the windows, the flag above the right building, the jetstream in the sky, the tilting perspective, the "wet" spots on the road. As said before - I miss the point (or the story in this shoot) Sorry Kenneth - i'm really not trying to kick you in the teeth here. And theese words are just my point of view. Others will dissagree.
