regis 0 Posted June 29, 2007 Farland Head, North Ayrshire, Scotland. My fourth attempt to capture this part of west-coast and those beautiful Old Red Sandstones. These underlying rocks are red Permo-triassic sandstone about 200 Million years old. You can see Isle of Arran in the distance and a Little Cumbrae on the right side.
