Great perspective on a "S" curve. I really like how it stands out against the dark landscape. A path of hope perhaps? I wish the vehicle wasn't there though.Well done.

I debated that idea, and in fact, I burned out the car, but it just didn't feel right after I did it. Maybe, this is because I saw the car and everytime I see this image, I see the car in my mind's eye. I finally convinced myself the car is part of the landscape. As a fan of film noir, I convinced myself the car poses a question as to what it's doing there. Are they disposing of the evidence of the crime? Or, perhaps hatching a plot?

Okay, one vote FOR the car. Without the car, it's a lovely scene with a great S-curve and a nice grainy sky. Easily appreciated, metabolized, and dismissed. With the car, it's a mystery. My eye stops there and wonders. Obviously, you being you, wanted more than a pretty picture.

I still think its better without the car. However, your explanation makes sense and I can see what your artist's eye was going for.I understand the mystery of the car.The highlighted cloud on the right looks like a UFO by the way!

Very strong image, Emmanuel. Love how the textures of the road are realised and the conveying of depth by the meandering highway. Very well done. Regards.

The atmosphere is charged with mystery and compels us to anaylize this composition further. Great job.

The grainy effect works here to give this a distant time feel. Another vote for the car to be there as I think it adds a motion, a hint of life to the S-bend.

Hi, again! Oh boy, what a mood! The car is absolutely essential for the final atmosphere! I can feel the sweat bursting out of my skin at the heat ot this odd world, (only imagining what that place must be). :-D
