marcoimages 0 Posted June 29, 2007 I always enjoy seeing others rendition of of the same subject matter. It looks like you had a nice over cast day and used a wide aperture. to get nice DOF. It looks like this car was in amazing condition as well. I like the fact that you don't have much reflection off the car. I usally find these hard avoid and sometime distracting. I used a closer crop to avoid having space on the top. Personal choice, but I think if you did that the viewer would focus on the lights more. Nice Job! Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted June 29, 2007 I'm going to try your crop suggestion at top. It was shot in bright sunlight on the side of the road with a For Sale sign on it Link to comment
marcoimages 0 Posted June 29, 2007 I'd love to see the whole car. Is it a hard top or convertible? In terms of Caddies the 59s are where the $ is at . What type of shape was it in and how much? ( I know that these are not photo related issues but I do other things. FYI there is an image of my caddy is in my portfolio) Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted June 30, 2007 It was a hardtop. 2 door in need of mild restoration. I don't know the price there was no one around Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted July 1, 2007 I like the isolation of the detail, Ken, like driving a car with missiles on the back. Link to comment
bertr 0 Posted July 1, 2007 ...they don't make 'em like that nomore :-) ...The image is most interesting...the details and the lines are so typical of the Cadillac line in 1958-59... and you have captured the spirit of this automobile in one detail...great shot... Bert Link to comment
