Playing around with shallow depth of field for this portrait of my

lovely wife Maria. Any comments welcome.

Personally, I think the soft focus/blur, flat lighting, and horizontal composition hurt the image. I think the background could make for some interesting shots with the same subject and would like to see any others you have fromt the shoot. I hope there is no offense taken, but I wanted to explain the rating I gave.
