talking about perfect DOF and composition! the large baloon to the top is simply incredibly placed. so glad you didn't try to get the whole baloon in the shot, but saw the value of the part...as well as the different sizes/ positions of the other baloons. needless o say ...the color is wonderful as well. 7/7s w/o hesitation.

Oh, Lesa, what an incredible picture! I love the composition. We have all the information we need about the big balloon to the right. The crop is awesome. BTW, I posted a picture called dying flower, which it seems the first people who commented did not like it a lot. I would appreciate very much if you could give me your feedback why so I can try to improve my skills. Thank you so much!

Thanks to all for the comments and compliments. This was a very fun shot. It looks like I was in the air with these guys, but I had climbed a dirt pile that was about 20 feet high, and the landing field was in front of me. The balloons were flying about 6-15 feet over my head then descending into this field to finish the race. Thanks again for the comments. LJ
