Michal, yes it is a broken bulb placed in a black socket shot wiyh a black background. I didn't mean to break so much of the glass away. The creepy smoke effect was created from the flame and is not a photoshop trick. Thanks for looking and commenting. Jeffery

Good shot. I have done these shots but yours is great. How did you get the smoke to show up so well in such a dark setting? Any lighting other than the bulb it self?

J. Caputo------No extra lighting. Just the light from the bulb. I was shooting in a totally dark Lab the windows were even covered. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Thanks for your comments and question. I am going to post a few others tonight or tomorrow. Jeffery
