What a beautiful image; one of my favorites of yours, and one that I wish that I had the skill to shoot!

 

It is beautiful on so many levels: The contrast between the skin tones and the black, and the amazing negative design created by the black; the symmetry that anchors the design that morphs into a graceful S-curve; the inward turn of the expression combined with the bright red lips and the single (painted?) tear.

 

The model is an exordinary beauty, and there must be a great deal of trust between you two for her to release herself into herself so completely.

 

And what a great way to recycle your clothes!

Thanks for the flattering comments. This is actually quite a simple shot. What makes it look so good is indicated in your remarks. She has an outstanding beauty. It will come as no surprise to you that she is also make-up artist. She did her own make-up for this shot.

 

I don't think trust is an issue here. She is 3 feet taller than me. As for recycling my clothes; I have stated on many occasions that I am not a gentleman. However, I am not so mean as to give this beautiful girl a used shirt.

Excellent contrast between the flesh tones and blacks, heightens the skin, brings a very warm feeling to the photo. Very sensual expression that creates a certain mood. Let's face it David, beautiful model posing sensually, awesome use of lighting brings what the photographer wants to the forefront, creates a vivid image. You've done yet another wonderful composition. Great work!
