Guest Guest Posted June 24, 2007 You are too much, Micki. this is like Georgia O'Keeffe meets Andy Warhol (with Micki just off in the wings). Cute and goes just that little extra mile to be special. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted June 24, 2007 I was trying to get my KETCHUP and MUSTARD as I do almost every meal, that and salt shaker. And my son kept playing a joke on me. This was pure spontanious. Silly KIDS! ;) Link to comment
bartimeus1 0 Posted June 24, 2007 ... But they are excellent photomodels for this kind of playful images. I like this one better, as an image, when compared to the memory-rich arcade-stick. This really also reminds from somebody`s painting... I just cannot remember whose. Very moody and nice capture! Alpo P.S. J died for the sake of our sins, so, roam freely in my macro-folder... If there is anything worthy of viewing... ;-D Of course, if you mean that my photos are sinful or otherwise to be discarded, you may have a point. ;-D No, seriously, your comments brigtened my otherwise very burdened day. (I`ve been at work from 7.40 AM to 11.40 PM - so, a bit tired just now.) Link to comment

ciana_high 0 Posted June 25, 2007 That is so neat seeing him peek out behind the bottles. Did not see him at first till I came back to see what others had written. Wonder how many others missed seeing him there?? Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted June 26, 2007 more Warhol than O'keefe. This is great! You find the greatest things around you own home. That's what I'm trying to do. Link to comment
petespositives 0 Posted June 27, 2007 Hey Micki! When does the Big Yellow Taxi come for you? If ever I feel uninspired or short of a laugh your portfolio is a place to visit. Cheaper than alcohol and more accessible than mind warping drugs your shared glimpses of life are a rare tonic. Thanks for the giggles! Pete Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 27, 2007 I included O'Keefe with Warhol because I immediately saw the split down the middle here as vaginal, similarly to the way many of O'Keefe's flowers look. Since this is not generally a predisposition of mine, I thought there was probably something to it! Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted June 27, 2007 I never thought of that, I guess I need to go back and study the LIFE of Warhol. The funny thing is my SON is peeking through this and when you said that all those Physchological things are going through my head about comparing the picture to birth and such. Hmmm The funny thing was when I was actually trying to DO the picture (and I do this pictures all the time) I was thrilled that the Ketchup and the Mustard MATCHED. Like they were lovers. The Ketchup is a bit taller and the mustard is shorter and it was really cool. MY SON was getting in the way (as you can see in the back threr eye peeking out). No matter what I did he would not stop doing it. We were having dinner. I do these pictures as I call them DATE PICTURES. Well, I never thought about it in the way you described but it a way when I cut it down to closer (because in some of the pictures it is farther out) I did make it more initmate. It almost looks like he is a voyeur. Hmmm... Thank you for comparing me to someone like Warhol. All these different people I get compared to and it is funny because they are people I just absolutly LOVED their work because of the abstract feel meets realism. But I still want to be me. Silly isn't it. But FRED ~ I actually think you pegged this a bit more than I think I even saw it. At least I was going for it but my peeker got in the way which makes it almost more.... mcpoljak2003 0 Posted October 7, 2007 I know a lot about Heinz and these appear to be Heinz Ketchup - 14oz. Upside Down Forever Full bottle & Heinz Yellow Mustard, 12oz. Forever Full bottle- each with tamper-proof lids that cannot be refilled. My guess is that this was shot in a restaurant - maybe late at night after visiting the local pub. The interesting thing in-between, not sure , but I bet it tastes better with Ketchup. Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted October 7, 2007 How do you know so much about ketchup? HA! I only use HEINZ period! YUM! I don't like mustard. blah! That is my son peeking through. Yes it was dark and in a place called BEEF OH BRADY'S that is very close to home. Link to comment
