snapshooter 0 Posted June 24, 2007 This is one I haven't submitted, and maybe the best of the bunch. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 24, 2007 Another really great image. The same comments as I gave on the other regarding the photoshopping would apply here. Really great composition and sighting of architecture in harmony with landscape. That's the beauty here to me. Link to comment
joe-tury 0 Posted June 24, 2007 Love this simple scene Doug.I assume Fred is talking about over sharpening? As for the colours, I like them! Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted June 25, 2007 What a cool place! Fascinating building. This is a beautiful capture - the colours are amazing. I guess they are photoshopped but they look like they belong. Link to comment

mvisionphotography 1 Posted June 26, 2007 i forgot how that clay/rock can really show up on filmm. Your saturation really was tweaked a bit on this one? eh? Link to comment
shanm 0 Posted June 26, 2007 Nice shot, love old missions. The discoloration in the blues just above the rocks is a bit distracting, but all in all a very nice photo. smile,,, Link to comment
torfinn 0 Posted June 26, 2007 A great shot. Excellent colours, good details, and composition. Best regards, Torfinn. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted June 27, 2007 There are different ways of seeing, I suppose. This looks less like a photo of what is, but what could be. I think the hyper-saturation adds to this scene. Much of Southwestern art has this effect, and I think it's quite consistent with the genre. Bottomline, it's a great photo. Link to comment

susan stone 0 Posted August 29, 2007 I keep coming back to your "rolling west" folder because I like the Southwestern theme, and just where is this wonderful old mission?! I'm heading South for a quick trip next week and this is the kinda place I love to explore photographically. I do like lots of color and am guilty of pushing that slider a little too far myself but this one, on my monitor, almost hurts my eyes....too red (I can't believe I said that) and too dark blue, but compositionally it really "sings".
