Comments and Critiques are appreciated.

The lighting through the windows is very nice. I think the front of the vase could have used a little fill light. The higlights around the edges of the vase are great. Just think it could use a little more detail in those shadows. I'm not a fan of your heavy black frame around this image. I think it's, well, a little too heavy. A lighter framing technique might help to bring out some of those dark tones in the image. MP

I think more light would ruin the secret feel to this place, I like it just as it is.

Mark, Ellen, Armindo, C Brake, Geri, and Marta. Thank you for the kind comments and or critiques. This vase was in the home of a client of mine and the lighting situation was such that it simply begged to be photographed. I asked permission of course if I could and I'm glad I did.

I like it; the shadows emphasize the shape of the vase rather than the vase itself (I don't know if that makes sense or not, but I like it). Best wishes~Russell
