Welldone, it's beautiful.

This is a spectacular photo! The light on the bird's feathers is wonderful and makes you feel like you're there in the last warm glow of sunlight. The depth of field captures the wing span and really makes the eagle stand out from the background, which has great bokeh.

I agree with Michael. The splendid lighting on the wing span, the sharpness of the head, the feather detail along the neck and the beautiful bokeh make this a dynamite capture.

Great shot, and while gliding. . .It's difficult to get such a photogragh; you did a really good job of it. Keep up the excellent work, and good eye for the hard shot.

Nice to read all this comments. Thanks for taking time to write. The picture is taken realy late in the evning. Her in the middel of Norway we almost got midnight sun in the summer and the golden hour last for some hours, but this is realy the last sunbeams of the day around 23.00 in Flatanger. The iso is 800.

Excellent in every aspect: great light, excellent focus and detail; excellent DOF and a nice bokeh to boot. Cropped maybe a tad too tight as any frame will obscure parts of the wings now.

i think you already know what we think of this. Very well done, awesome timing, light/color and detail.

Excellent capture my friend,the colors and detail are superb. The only critique of this shot is the subject is too tightly cropped, and the noise of 800 ISO is apparent. None the less, an excellent image...congrats...DanT
