cherlyn 1 Posted June 23, 2007 A good enactment of the Forbidden Apple, which is colour prominent in this oerall gray toned image. Look forward to more of your new seris of dance presentation. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Great composition and the Apple adds that magic tough. I also like the legs of the other dancer in the background. Excellent. Congratulations, Pnina. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 23, 2007 Thanks Michael, Lesa, Cherlyn and Marco for your nice comments Michael, I stopped paying attention to the 3/3s as most of the people that are giving it don't understand art, so I use it for more visibility thats all, I don't have expectations for understanding of most of that kind of participants, because if they would have some understanding and they don't like the photo, integrity would have dictataed them to explain why, but annonimity is for cowards, and less educated level of people. jeffl7 0 Posted June 25, 2007 This portrays well the tension and torment of temptation. The woman is frozen. The man is frozen. Time seems to be standing still. Effective, but a little troubling. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 25, 2007 Thanks again all of you. Jeff, it is a one scene from a series of that dance. I hope to upload more of it later on. Very interesting work of dance is this one. The interpretation is mine as well as yours and the other viewers. Link to comment

donnaalbers 0 Posted June 27, 2007 Hi Pnina, This is a fine image. . . I like the selective coloration but I think that a strong message like this would work in a total grey scale too. The juxtaposition of the male and female, together with the apple make for some very powerful imagery in this well balanced composition. Very nicely done. Link to comment
afshinazizi 0 Posted June 27, 2007 Great dual tunning.I like composition and consept in this shot. Her looking at the man is great. All the best Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 28, 2007 Are there any lengths to which you will not go? :-} I can't help but think that there is someone lurking off stage with a bow and arrow drawn and aimed and in a moment the apple will be sent flying. Link to comment
laurent-paul 1 Posted January 5, 2008 Excellent photo. What I personaly love in this photo, is that "Eve" looks like she wants to keep the apple just for herself, and the dark hairy legs of "Adam" therefore seems a bit out of place ( not in the photo of course : he is making it work, but in the narrative ) and not having any idea about what is going on, implies that she probably should not have shared the apple in the first place:-) Link to comment
laurent-paul 1 Posted January 5, 2008 as for 3/3s, I believe it is always more interesting to get lots of 3s and 5s than only a bunch of 4s : It means that people are reacting to the picture, therefore proving the power of the art Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 5, 2008 Thanks for all your nice comments which are expressing your point of view. I think that a photo after uploaded by the photographer, has its own life. Some will connect to it and some will not, it depends what each viewer brings with him looking at it, like cultur, knowledge, curiosity, a will to explore and understand, personal preferences etc. I have stopped rating photos, because being here some years now, I don't think numbers are a good index, I prefer writing comments when I have what to say of photos that interest my feeings, or technical details, or subjects, execution , composition ,color ,beauty, metaphors, expression and more. There are photographers I follow constantly. I try to do it the best I can, as I have learned and still learn a lot from comment that are well evaluating and well written ( negative or positive, but always polite and constructive).
