Him and the fishermen

The fish start jumping at dusk so the fishermen go out at dusk with their throw nets my husband sat on the pier taking pictures as they were throwing their nets. I caught him taking their pictures. Check out his picture here.

I am always trying to capture him taking pictures for my documentary photo's of where we take pictures. Thank you for your comments and critiques.

Good work here ... I was just wondering why you opted not to clone out the people.

If you go to the link above in the comments you will see the picture of those people. Part of the reason why I take his picture is me taking pictures of him taking pictures. Silly yep. But other than that HE SPOILS all my shots! HA

Nice photo. It doesn't look to me like he's taking a picture of the people. He seems more focused in front of him. I kind of like the people, though, because they are catching the sunlight and because most people consider that kind of thing a distraction and I think it gets my eye moving around the frame (and I love being different and difficult!). Here's my idea for this photo. This would be perfect without his camera (although I do understand that you like taking pics of him taking pics - you are such a "layered" person) and if he were nude, sitting just like he is with his back to us, meditatively and innocently.

lol Actually this pier is about five minutes away so I can redo this picture as many times as I want. See this picture here.

So I will have to try another shot like this with him doing something without the camera. hmmm thinking

Thanks for commenting on my shadows picture. I'm trying out some new things. I really like this shot. Getting down low really kept the perspective where it needed to be. My husband is a shutterbug too, and with us going to the same places, it's challenging to come up with different shots. I applaud your ingenuity. Wish me luck with the same!

I like this one! I wish the other two people weren't there though - clone them out! hehe wouldn't it be nice to just "clone out" all the people you didn't want in your life? hehehe - I can think of a few I would clone out.
