Hi Alec! This shot is amazing!! Great work! Yes, the balloon helps it ... I also think that the one green roof and one blue roof in the foreground add some interest as everyone else's is orange. But the fabulous rounded perspective is great because it mimics the curve of the earth. Oh - and the sky is amazing, too. Kudos!

Thanks guys. Hi Lou Ann, sharp eyes but the green and blue roofs are actually canvas covers for retiling the roofs. ^_^

Oh. Well, there's probably some sort of orange-roof law or something, huh? :-)

No Lou Ann, they are free to choose the colors but I guess light reddish brown is a favourite here.

Spectacular, Alec!

Really a spectacular bird's eye view of our country. The fish eye lens really give very good persepctive. (I was very tempted to get one fish eye lens too when I see my friend's photo on our recent trip to Yunnan with this lens. Produce very interesting perspective)
