Guest Guest Posted June 21, 2007 This works the best for me of the three you currently have newly posted (showing on your bio page). Certainly it is very well done, beautiful and natural skin tones, great detail, the soft focus of the front whisp of hair, lovely beautiful eyes (still a little white for me in the whites). But with all three, I get a sense of your trying a bit too hard. The expression, while interesting, does not feel real or spontaneous and so the portrait takes on a staged feel that many of your others don't have. I am more conscious of this as a setup than I am drawn into this man's persona. The photo of this same man entitled "Devilish" reaches me more deeply and genuinely. Link to comment
