dougityb 0 Posted June 21, 2007 wondering what your reactions are to the "historical effects" as well as to overall subject treatment. This is part of a series/project I'm working on centering on old churches in my area. Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted June 21, 2007 Hello Doug, the sepia or old effect is OK, probably a little more pleasing than the full BW. It's a nice building, other than front on, have you looked at any other angles. Some interiors would have been interesting. P Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted June 21, 2007 Ha! Peter. Don't hold your breath on the interior photos. That's not going to happen.... I only shot this particulare building this way, then this way vertical, and then head on. (see above, for head on) The parking lot and a few cars were on the other side, and so was something else, air conditioners, some dorky little building sticking out of it, or something. The sky was not very cooperative, either. I think the sun might have been back there, too. There may have been a wedding here later that day. The women belonging to the cars had the disheveled air of females on the morning of a wedding. Plus, the two wreaths on the door had a weddingy look about them. I'm liking how this angle resembles a boat, or some kind of vessel, and I'm glad you like the historical treatment. Link to comment
