I feel as though he's uncomfortable with her next to him, as though he's pushing her away. I guess the pose just doesn't evoke intimacy.

I have mixed feelings with this: on the one hand the womand seems to be wishing to draw closer to the man and her pose seems to indicate intimacy, but the right had of the man makes me this otherwise... He looks as if he was trying to protect himself from her, it doesn't fit with the rest of the composition.

As composition, lighting, volume, resolution, focus, for me is perfect. May be this shot has not a kitsch aesthetic, very appreciate in general...7/7 Sincere congrats.

My initial impression is that there is too much of him and not enough of her. It looks too much like a muscle shot and not enough of an intimacy shot. It is well photographed though

It is the push and pull of the subjects that help to make this technically excellent image controversial ... nice job!
