Many times when shooting flowers in RAW format, nothing needs to be

done except formatting for downloading. As was the case with this

shot.

To everyone that's commented ~ Thank you. Not for the positive commments but, for commenting and expressing what you see in this photo.

I'm finally learning what I can and cannot do with this lens. It doesn't matter what camera I use, the end results are the same.

So, for anyone else that has this lens, don't shoot into reflected light.

This is very sharp composition. You managed a very good dof and light. The colors are just beautiful. The only thing I'd do, is to get rid of the piece at the lower left corner, which tend to distract a little. Best regards - Hasan

Its a beautiful flower-photo, taken from a good point. Very nice colors as well!

I'm back, tired and sore from several weeks of branding, but ready to try and get caught up with my PN friends. Dave your three recent posts of flowers are just exquisite; the colors, details, DOF, composition, etc., are just "out of the box" excellent. And you even offer a helpful comment when responding to comments. I also like what you say in your new bio dialog.......but you need to work on the title of this image?! LOL

I hope you are happy with the sharpness this time around with the new body. Looks mighty sharp to me.
