cherlyn 1 Posted June 17, 2007 A new Project started by Joseph Tury, using Song Titles as title of the image & participating member's posting their different image interpretation of the title. This is our very 1st title. Anyone interested to join in the fun can contact Joseph Tury. Their similarties of hair tones, dress colour code make me record this moment in time down, wondering whether the daughter will grow up one day to look like the mother. A time segment that they themselves would have forgotton, with only photos to remind them. jeffl7 0 Posted June 17, 2007 This is a very sweet, simple, but effective picture. These women indeed look very well matched, whether intentionally or by accident. You've painted a moment in time exceptionally well. Link to comment

ingermargrete 0 Posted June 18, 2007 A well captured moment. The first thing that struck me looking at this is the similarities between mother and daughter, like you describe yourself. You instantly know that they are mother and daughter. And I also keep wondering if the daughter will grow up to be like the mother and vice versa (the mother WAS the daughter earlier); so the image gives me a little feeling of "travel through time". There is a strong bond between these two, although they do not have eyecontact. A nice photo that I can "see" alot of history in. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 18, 2007 Cherlyn, nice capture of the scene with or without the title the juxtaposition is well observed and composition works very well. I like the mother's gaze and the child seen from the back. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted June 20, 2007 The time we spend just being together, especially in nice places, is valuable and memorable. This captures that. Even when we don't speak or look at each other (the profile of mom and the back of daughter), being near is often enough. This conveys that beautifully. Their colorful attire against the grayer background is also noteworthy. Link to comment
bob_belanger 1 Posted June 29, 2007 I see the connection to the theme, Mother and daughter marking the passage of time in a quiet moment. Nice interpretation. Link to comment
hy 0 Posted July 5, 2007 Oops, I think I missed this one. Suits perfectly. Very nice scene with pictorial atmosphere. Link to comment
alibek 0 Posted July 10, 2007 This image does have a good link with the song title. At top of thet, capture of the mood of the girl and mom (?) is clear, meaning you rendered it through the postures, movements and tones. I bet you were lucky to take ths picture in an overcast day as it looks just marvellous; lots of the details on their skin is just amazing; timing made such a great in-motion blur. This is one of examples of a reference exposure. I wish I coul've been getting those more often! Okay, and, finally, this lady certainly does not care any sad sense of time, that won't let the kid, herself and the world around her be the same. She enjoys it. Thanks for sharing, Alibek Link to comment
