Magnificent work, Ellen!

Ellen, this is an excellent idea! I love the color, the smokiness and the multiple photos. Only two things I'd like to see differently: On the one image of the man, I'd like to see the entire trumpet...the front is cut off in one shot. The other thought was about the bluish disc of light on the man towards the center of the image. It really draws my eye away from the rest of the image and considering its position in the dark portion of the shot, it could probably be cloned easily. Anyway, this really is a great idea! Congrats.

I agree completely with the last comment... esp. that its a great idea. I think once you clone out the blue disc, the focus shifts to the highlight son the front of the trumpet on the left, which is a great complement to the colors of the photo and its mood. Great job. Alex.

Excellent collage. Very original and atmospheric with beautiful light. The dark top right corner is a great touch and I actually like the little imperfections mentioned above as it could be suggested that a semi-abstract image like this is made up of imperfections. P.S. I would let the viewer work out for him or herself that it's the same man.

Great idea. Nicely executed. The blueish disc has been mentioned already. Indeed, this is disrupting the picture a bit. Also the cut off of one of the trumpets (yes, I know it is only one :-) is a bit distracting. Nevertheless, I like it.

Ellen, this is one of the better music/concert pictures I think I've seen. The transluecency makes it feel like he is playing and the music is moving right through him. I've got to ask though, who's hand is in the center bottom of the image? It looks to have a ruffled sleeve and be holding a flower bud or something?
