Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted June 16, 2007 On a cool and sunny evening in the month of June--that's THIS June, as in, oh, yesterday--I went to the beach to shoot seagulls. I learned from last time that it is best to shoot these birds with their high contrast downs either early or late in the day to avoid over-exposure. This time, I brought a sack of wheat bread and muffins to attact the furry creatures. But, as soon as I arrived, a quick cloud movement covered the sun, and a cold pall descended on the beach. This, of course, was a problem because the baby was at risk of catching a cold. After a few uninspired beachscapes, I was set to call it a night when this family enthusistically dashed out to the beach, and began to have what could liberally be described as the time of their lives. Well, when life gives you lemons, I suppose lemonade is not necessarily a bad idea. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted June 17, 2007 A tender capture of the man's family rushing up to meet him. The tones and grain add to the nostalgia, which harkens back to idyllic memories of belonging to someone. A nice thought on Father's Day. Wishing you a great one, Emmanuel. Link to comment

adan1 0 Posted June 20, 2007 The wonderful thing about photography is the element of surprise. Inspiration can be lurking around the corner, be under your nose, in front of your eyes or waiting to happen within a couple of seconds. Great shot. Link to comment
