Wonderful image, and what a great use of colors! I saw it larger and the details are very well captured, best regards from Costa Rica, jc

WOW! This is an exceptional image. If you have the time, I'd love to see a breakdown, maybe just draw lines across this image, where the 12 original images were stitched together. Thanks for a comment that you made a couple of weeks ago on one of my images of Pike's Peak and the Garden of the Gods.

Thank you very much for your comments. I'm glad you like it.

Lou Ann - it's quite hard to show you exactly where the photos overlap. I don't have layared version anymore - as it was really "too heavy" to store on my harddrive :) I just made sure all images overlap without any marks and I left just the final version. Just imagine 12 vertical shots, quite evenly distributed along the whole frame.

Funny thing is with the stitching program I use. It has a built-in optimiser to correct the overall stitching procedure. It usually displays "good", "quite good" etc. notice - which describes the quality of the whole stitch.

Here is the result I got with this panorama :)

Software programmers have to have fun sometimes... :-) Thanks for your answer, Piotr ... I was wondering if you had two rows of 6, or fully 12. This is gorgeous!!

this is very good work indeed, great colour across the entire panorama, fantastic clouds which make the shot work. The low angle is very good and I will get down to the shore here next time I'm up at Ballachulish. I found the spot but it looked quite slippery for a fat old man.

All the very best and congratulations in a wonderful job.
