Guest Guest Posted June 13, 2007 I've already commented on this shot, which is elsewhere in your portfolio. What made you post it again? Is there some difference? It is hard to tell as I can't have them up side by side to see if there is some difference. Nevertheless it remains a wonderful, natural, sincere, and moving portrait. I much prefer it kept simple than the collage in blue you've posted. To me this works so well because the stage lighting is the one highlighting element that emphasizes his lovely gaze and harmony with his instrument. So the lights are like visual counterpoints to the rest of the image, which is less colorful and more subdued. A lot of that is lost for me in the collage. Your photographic artistry is so evident here. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted June 13, 2007 I agree with Fred - I much prefer this version. I'm puzzled by your title though MIchael - gheesh - somebody needs to teach you your instruments. hahahaha Well it sure got my attention! haha. This is really a great portrait of this fellow! Link to comment
mmene 0 Posted June 14, 2007 You are right because I confused you using the original word. Organ is a greek word that means a music instrument. So everybody who plays an instrument is an organist. Fortunately I know the difference among a basso and a music organ-:) Thank you for your comment that let me clear a confusion. Friendly Michael. Link to comment

bartimeus1 0 Posted June 17, 2007 Sorry for the long time of silence! I`ve been extremely busy during the last two weeks. Now, that I have some time off from the work, I`ll try to be more active. :-) This image of yours really shows the jazz-atmosphere. The composition works very well. Alpo Link to comment
