crtslex 0 Posted June 11, 2007 What a dramatic photo. The Hurricane looks very sleek here -- and ready to go! A terrific shot. The clouds help. Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted June 12, 2007 Beautiful colors and good detail. Certainly a most unhearlded one of the few.....Man I would not want to be a gunner in a He-111 with this baby coming in with it's 8-7.62s blazing at me......Jim Link to comment
dangoldman 0 Posted June 13, 2007 Beautiful portrait. The square crop of your camera/medium took me a second to get used to, but i like it. I'd be tempted to say i'd like it composed down a little bit, so that the prop is right at the very edge of the frame (this idea costed me atleat 4 frames....) so that you could see more wing; but then again theres probably background clutter etc. Link to comment
k5083 1 Posted June 13, 2007 Jim: Actually this particular variant had 12 guns! Dan: You are right on about composing downward and about the reason I could not do it. In fact, there is more on the bottom of this picture on the transparency, but I would have to spend a lot of time with the clone tool to clean it up. This crop goes down as low as it can without picking up a whole crowd of people. I agree it would be better with a little more wing. Link to comment
aeaster 0 Posted June 17, 2007 I find this unusual perspective on the old Hurricane to be quite interesting. The forshortening does give a sleeker look to her, like she is indeed ready to leap off of the tarmac. Link to comment
