kristin_morales 0 Posted June 20, 2007 Since I too have an Erika...I love this one. I find the highlights on the hair to be perfect and one of the harder things for me to set up. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted June 20, 2007 Thank you. I was teaching her mother how to use studio lighting. Her mother is a self-taught photographer, much like myself. She was slightly intimidated by studio lighting. We played for several hours, I hope she feels less intimidated. She has great talent with regard to composition & subject matter, she just needed some technical help. Erika was a doll. She's 13 or 14. She loves having her picture taken & has such an agreeable personality for a teen. I remember taking a picture much like this of our daughter when she was this age. She frowned, fussed & complained the whole time :( I finally gave up in defeat! Our daughter in now 30 :) Link to comment
kristin_morales 0 Posted June 20, 2007 That is too funny! My erika is 13 about to be 14 and is the source of inspiration for a lot of my work. I have always appreciated that you share so much information with those around you and anyone who asks. You are generous... your encouragement and knowledge are great gifts to share. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted June 21, 2007 Thank you for the wonderful compliment. You have made my day. I love to share :) It's so much more fun than keeping it to yourself :) My husband might debate that statement :) But after 34 years, he just stares & nods :) Every once in a while he hears something he really wants to hear, then I have to repeat it :) Selective hearing?
