bwild 0 Posted June 8, 2007 Comment or suggestions Nice Shot!!! Take a look at the sky you seem to have some marks (7) indicating that your sensor may be dirty or is it just lens flare. Very easy to remove with PS. Again Nice Shot!!! Link to comment
dianabailey 0 Posted June 8, 2007 wow.. this is a very powerful piece. It almost looks like an illustration of Poseidon the Greek god. The only suggestion that I can make is try dodging the rocks in the foreground to illuminate them. for me the tone kind of runs into the sea . This is a great photo along with the rest of your work. Thanx for sharing and Welcome to Photo net Link to comment
defpitch 0 Posted June 8, 2007 agreed with rob. fix the spots. but i would leave the rocks. otherwise photo looks great. Link to comment
kurt2006 0 Posted June 8, 2007 The image has nice depth because of the clouds that extend off to the horizon. The tone of the water is naturally dark when you have such an enormous range of brightness values. One day you might want to experiment with HDR techniques, or you might invest in a split GND filter (as others advocate). This image with its dark water captures the blinding light pretty well, though. Definitely look out for sensor dust spots with small apertures. And your horizon is noticeably (slightly) not level. Things to look for. Welcome to PN. Cheers. Link to comment
