"Birdprint"

This is absolutely amazing - is it ice? Was there a dead bird below?

Very unusual and beautiful photo, a bit sad though, since the bird certainly didn't like it...

Can one determine the sort of bird who did this?

I don't really get to take credit for this, as it was discovered on

our back window, one morning after a light rain. I waited for the sun

to offer backlighting, to bring out detail. The anonymous author

(wingspan~16") was never found.

Amazing.

At least you photographed this well. As sorry as I feel the bird, it certainly made for a very unusual image. Nicely done!
