I think the word cherlyn was looking for is translucent. This shot does display the translucent qualities of the (Tiger Lily?) flower very well. An excellent, crisp shot. My one concern is how it was resized. Looking along the edges of the petals and the pistles (I think that's what those brown buds are called that hold the pollen) there are jagged edges. I'm not sure if that was a result of how you resized the image or how Photo.net resized it. Regardless, well done photo!
