In case of this building, built 1896-1899 the main characteristics of

the style of Ödön Lechner are coming to expression: the role

of the subdivision is less important, compared to the big decorated

wall surface. The plastered facade appears, according to Ákos

Moravánszky as from a skeleton and infill fields, while the

brick ornament of Lechner has hier already a mature shape.
