is it weird lighting or photoshop?

Jamie: Thank you for the kind words. I no longer pay much attention to ratings as they seem to be all over the place. I feel if people are truly interested, they will take the time to leave comments and/or observations. In answer to your question regarding lighting, etc. it is both the lighting and Photoshop. If you visit the rest of my work, you will see just some of the 1,500 or so images I shot within a two day period of Jen (pictured) and Vanessa (pictured at the site). I will be posting some of the unaltered/unretouched/unmanipulated images as well. The majority of the images on my site are as such. I will also be visiting your site and allowing myself proper time to look through your work which at first glance is very impressive. We seem to share quite a few common interests in subject matter. I will also place you in my "person of interest" list. Once again, thank you for taking the time to write as well as the kind rating you gave the image.

Thanks very much for all the information. I still haven't managed to pass beyond caring about ratings, but they do seem to be getting less and less reliable. I'll have a more in-depth look at your portfolio soon. Jamie
